Please do not hesitate to contact a local Socket representative if you have any quesitons. 12/27/07 UPDATE: During the transition of your e-mail messages on December 27, 2007 from WeBound's servers to Socket's servers, an interruption occurred which resulted in a temporary delay of e-mail messages. This has been fixed and all e-mail should be moving correctly. Please contact Socket's technical department at 1-800-762-5383 if you are experiencing any problems receiving e-mail messages. Thank you for your patience. ESTIMATED Transition Timeline: No, your @webound.com e-mail address will NOT need to change to an @socket.net address. When is my Internet payment due to Socket? Please call 1-800-762-5383 or send in payment via credit/debit card or check by the 20th of the month your bill is received. Will the price or billing for my service change? No. Socket will honor all current services and prices, so there will be no price changes for your current service. The frequency and method in which your account is billed will also stay the same. If you have a prepaid account, you will not receive an invoice until your account is up for renewal. Do I need to change my dial-up number? No, the local dial-up number you currently use for the Internet will NOT need to change. You will not experience any downtime during the transition of your new Socket Dial-up Internet service. Do I need to upgrade any high-speed DSL equipment? Not likely. Your high-speed DSL modem should be compatible with Socket's DSL Internet service. You will not experience any downtime during the transition to your new Socket High-Speed DSL Internet service. How do I continue to check my WeBound e-mail account? If you do not already, please begin using Outlook Express to manage your @webound.com e-mail. Our tech support agents are standing by to help you set up your Outlook program if you need assistance. Socket's Web Mail Center is also available to check and send your e-mail when you are away from your normal computer. Log in by following the directions below:

Blocked Executable Files To help filter unsolicited junk mail from reaching your e-mail address, Socket blocks the following executable files which are commonly used for harmful virus transfer: .exe, .cpl, .pif, .vbs, hta, cmd, .bat, and .scr. WeBound Web Hosting - If you utilize your WeBound Members Space for non-commercial Web sites, your content will be transferred to Socket's Web servers.
